The fist step is to make a ".zip" file to upload to the internet. You will want to avoid using third party file extensions such as ".rar" and ".7z" files as they require the person helping to get the application to extract the file. How to zip Your Workspace: Step 1: Prepare your zip file Lets make a folder that has your workspace.mcr file in it like below. Step 2: Zip the folder We can now make our .zip file with our .mcr file in the zipped folder. First "right-click" the folder. Then click "send to". Then select "Compressed (zipped) folder". Step 3: Uploading the file This is where you need to decided where you want to store the file so people can help you with it. There is many places online where you can upload the file. I will be doing a tutorial on MediaFire witch gives you 10 GB free space and below that I will be showing how to upload and share on Google Drive witch gives you 15 GB free space. How Share Your Workspace Using MediaFire: Notes: Skipping Making an Account I am just going to skip the steps to make an account with MediaFire as its like everything else you would do to sign up to a website. Step 2: Adding Files You can add file two ways the first way is by searching for your folder and upload the file that way or you can drag the file into the MediaFire folder and it will automatically upload. You can now directly copy the link from the upload files menu after the file is verified. Step 3: Getting the link from the folder If you closed the menu before you could copy the link you can copy the link in the folder by doing the steps below. Fist click the down arrow on the right side of your file. Then select Copy Link. How Share Your Workspace Using Google Drive: Notes: You Will Need to Have Gmail. If you have a YouTube account then you should have a Gmail account, and there for you will have drive already, You just need to follow the steps to access your drive. First go to google.com and log-in to your google account on the search page. When you are logged in find the app icon with the nine boxes next to your account profile image. Step 2: Uploading the zip File to Drive Right-click anywhere in your main folder and select "Upload files" Search for your .zip file and upload that file. Step 3: Get the Public Link. Right-click your file and select "Share" Make sure the sharing permission is set to "Anyone with the link can view"
And copy the link. Downloading the File From Drive This is mainly for the people helping but its still relevant to this tutorial.
If the person has provided a valid link to there google drive file you can download the files via these steps. Step 1: Click the download button. There is a down arrow with a line under the point of there arrow this is the download button to download the file they provided.
