It would be great if there were some tutorials on how to make different kinds of custom textures and models. Like maybe make them in MCreator. Or maybe in other softwares like Gimp and Blockbench. Then show how to import them and how to set them up to work with that type of mod!
Some examples of texture and model types to make are: Custom Armor, Monsters, and Player Skins.
I know that there are tutorials on custom armor already, but they aren't focused specifically on the texture and modeling portion. For example the snorkel Armor. I don't really understand how you made the custom texture and models for the armor portion of that project. The Option that MCreator has just lets you pick the colors for the texture and not the shape of how it fits on the player or make your own custom texture shapes and models.
How do you make a custom model for Armor? Then make and apply your own texture to it? Im just very confused on how to make a custom armor texture and model that isn't in the shape of normal Minecraft Armor.
I also know that there is a Blockbench tutorial series, but it's only focused on how to make the penguin and how to use the Blockbench software. It didn't branch out on how to make different kinds of models and textures other than the penguin.
So if there were tutorials for those things it would really help! It would also be great if there was a whole series on modeling and texturing for different types of mod elements!! (Not just sticking to one mod element project for the whole series.)
I hope this is a good Tutorial idea and it is possible to make videos on if you like it!!
